She will be bring up to date weather information about Magoffin and surrounding counties to the MCNN community on a regular basis, with group posts, articles, and live broadcasts. We will try to keep an updated forecast and alerts on our new weather page and also on the facebook page/group.

Meet Alyssa Chance
My name is Alyssa Chance. I have studied weather since I was 3 years old. (yes, you read that right.)
Over the course of the last 10 years, I have built up a reputation known by many as East Kentucky’s weather lady. Although Eastern Kentucky is where I call home, I have serviced people all over the continental United States.
There’s a wide variety of tools I use to provide the best weather updates anyone has seen. While I do not hold a degree in Atmospheric Sciences, my studies and updates have proven to not only keep the people informed, but also save lives.
My main goal is to provide up to date weather forecasts and alerts, so that everyone can stay weather aware, and mostly, SAFE, for whenever mother nature decides to truly be a MOTHER!
