- Monday through Thursday: 8 am until 3 pm
- Friday: 8 am till 12 pm
Who Can Get Vaccinated: Please note that flu shots at the Magoffin County Health Department are for adults only.

Types of Flu Vaccines
The flu vaccine provided by the health department protects against four different flu strains. Additionally, they offer a high-dose flu vaccine specifically designed for individuals aged 65 and older. This high-dose vaccine provides better protection for this age group.
When Does Protection Develop: Keep in mind that it takes up to two weeks for the vaccine’s protection to fully develop. So, the sooner you get your flu shot, the better protected you’ll be.
