In an exciting turn of events for some of the HWMS (Magoffin County Middle School) football players, a golden opportunity has presented itself in the form of an invitation to participate in the prestigious Kentucky Middle School Football Association (KYMSFA) Battle of the Regions. Scheduled for March 23rd and 24th in the vibrant Lexington area, these talented young athletes from Magoffin County are gearing up to showcase their skills on a grand stage.

The Tournament Details

The KYMSFA Battle of Regions is a highly anticipated event that brings together middle school football players from across the state. This year, the spotlight is on the formidable players from Magoffin County, representing Region 4 in this thrilling competition. The tournament promises fierce competition, camaraderie, and a chance for these young athletes to shine.

As the tournament approaches, the HWMS 2023 football players are leaving no stone unturned in their quest for victory. Two-weekend practices have been scheduled in Corbin and Hazard to fine-tune their skills, strategy, and teamwork. These practice sessions will play a crucial role in ensuring that the players from Magoffin County are well-prepared for the challenges that lie ahead.
