Magoffin County Sheriff Bill Meade makes statement about current flooding happening in Salyersville Kentucky.
“We have received multiple reports of flooding in different areas of the county, including Johnson Fork and rout 40. We have also received reports of mudslides.
We expect the situation to remain the same into the morning hours. The Magoffin County Sheriff Department would like everyone to remain safe and avoid travel if at all possible. In the event of an emergency, please call 911.
