Magoffin County News Network contacted Sheriff Bill Meade, of the Magoffin County Sheriff’s Department today, January 30, 2023, regarding the recent death investigation in Bloomington of Mr. Marcus Castle.
Mr. Castle’s body was reported to have been lying on a roadway and unresponsive in the Bloomington area of Magoffin County at a little after 4 p.m. on Tuesday, January 24th.
Sheriff Meade stated, “Magoffin County Sheriff’s Office is committed to providing the community with professional law enforcement services. Part of that is working with Detective Tony Tackett, of KSP Post 9, to bring this case to a successful close.”
Mr. Castle’s body has been transferred to the Kentucky State Capital or Frankfort, for autopsy with information being made available to law enforcement as the labs complete the processes.
