Low Gap Fork at Oil Springs will be completely closed beginning Thursday, Sept. 17, as Johnson County Fiscal Court and contractor NATTCO, Inc. begin embankment repairs. Officials say the closure will continue until the project is completed, weather permitting. A planned power outage will also be necessary during the work to allow for safe drilling. Residents are asked to avoid the area while repairs are underway.
