Nathan Cox is facing a felony charge after authorities allege he stole copper from Foothills Connect lines in Johnson County. According to the criminal complaint filed by Johnson County Sheriff Scott Hazlette, Cox allegedly admitted to the theft on video. The copper was valued at more than $1,000, and the complaint states the theft affected utility infrastructure.
