The Floyd County Board of Education has approved its tax rates for the 2026-2027 school year, keeping the general fund property tax rate unchanged. The rate will remain 68.5 cents per $100 of assessed value for both real and personal property. The board also approved lowering the motor vehicle and watercraft tax rate to 54.9 cents per $100 of assessed value for calendar year 2027.
