Magoffin County Judge/Executive Donald W. McFarland has ordered the county courthouse and governmental facilities under his authority to close at noon Friday, Sept. 25, in honor of longtime county employee Larry Hall. Hall served as Assistant County Road Foreman with the Magoffin County Road Department. The executive order recognizes his years of service maintaining and improving county roads and infrastructure and describes the closure as an expression of mourning, respect and gratitude.
