An old-fashioned fall carnival is being planned for Saturday, Oct. 24, from 5 to 8 p.m. at 46 Finley Arnett Road, with organizers looking for local businesses, churches, schools, food trucks, musicians and volunteers to get involved. Plans include traditional carnival activities such as a cake walk, apple bobbing, pumpkin decorating, ring toss, fall crafts, live music and more. There is no charge to set up a booth, and community groups are encouraged to host a game or activity. Those interested in participating can contact organizer Jessica Salyer for more information.
