A federal judge has ordered Addiction Recovery Care, once Kentucky’s largest treatment provider, to pay $18.4 million to two creditors. According to WKYT, Angelica Capital Trust and Clear Cove Opportunities Fund sued ARC after alleging the company defaulted on promised payments tied to loans made last year. The ruling comes after ARC agreed to pay a separate settlement of more than $16 million related to allegations of Medicaid billing fraud.
