Source: Floyd County Sheriff's Department, Prestonsburg KY 🚨 ROUTE 80 BLOCKED AFTER MAJOR CRASH BETWEEN MARTIN AND MAYTOWN Both directions of Route 80 are currently blocked near the Floyd County Community Center in the Warco area following a crash Tuesday morning. WMDJ reports dispatch confirmed both sides of the four-lane are blocked, although the number of vehicles involved and the extent of any injuries have not been officially confirmed. Appalachia Insider has also received reports indicating multiple vehicles may be involved and that a significant emergency response is on scene. Motorists traveling between Martin and Maytown should expect delays and avoid the area if possible while emergency crews work the scene.
