Eastern Kentucky will stay warmer than normal through Friday before a cold front brings widespread rain chances and cooler temperatures for the weekend. Highs today are expected to reach 82 to 89 degrees, with some locations possibly touching 90. Rain chances increase to 100% Friday, followed by an 80% chance Saturday and decreasing chances Sunday. By the weekend, highs are expected to fall into the upper 60s and 70s, with even cooler temperatures arriving to begin next week.
