Foothills Communications says some TV customers may notice brief pixelation, audio issues or temporary channel loss through mid-October because of seasonal solar interference. The outages occur when the sun, satellite and receiving antenna align, temporarily overwhelming the satellite signal. Most interruptions last less than 15 minutes and may be more noticeable in the afternoons. Foothills says the issue affects television service only and does not impact internet or phone service.
