“For the past 45 years, my law practice has been fighting for the underdog.” Prestonsburg attorney Ned Pillersdorf, Democratic candidate for Kentucky's 5th Congressional District, is taking that message to voters as he seeks to unseat longtime Congressman Hal Rogers. Pillersdorf is campaigning on concerns about poverty, healthcare, and federal assistance programs in Eastern Kentucky. He argues that decisions made in Washington have contributed to the region's economic struggles and is openly challenging Rogers' record in Congress. “Athene and I are ready to drive to Washington and get us out of last place,” Pillersdorf declares in his latest campaign commercial. 🎥 Meet Ned Pillersdorf and hear directly from the candidate seeking to represent Kentucky's 5th District.
