An evening of dancing, entertainment and community generosity brought residents together for Dancing for Life, a fundraising event benefiting the Maddiwar House of Hope Homeless Shelter. The event featured performances from local participants who spent months preparing, with community members showing their support through donations, ticket purchases and voting. Among the performers were Floyd County Chamber of Commerce board members Jennifer Horsley, who performed a Cinderella-themed routine with her Prince Charming, and Dr. Todd Frand, who partnered with Katherine Adams for a Phantom of the Opera performance. The Chamber thanked the dancers, organizers, sponsors and volunteers who helped turn an evening of entertainment into support for those experiencing homelessness.
