A Rowan County man was found deceased inside a vehicle at the Walmart parking lot in Morehead on Saturday, October 24. According to the Rowan County Coroner’s Office, emergency personnel responded around 2:30 p.m. after receiving a report of an unresponsive man inside a vehicle. The individual was identified as Ronald Rust, 65, of Rowan County. His next of kin has been notified. Authorities say no foul play is suspected, but the circumstances surrounding his death remain under investigation by the Morehead Police Department and Rowan County Coroner’s Office.
