The Mountain Association has announced the launch of the Grow EKY Loan Fund, offering affordable financing and business support to organizations serving communities across Eastern Kentucky. The program focuses on four essential sectors: • Housing and Skilled Trades: Contractors, electricians, plumbers and related businesses • Food Access: Grocery stores, farmers and food providers • Childcare: Childcare providers and related services • Disaster Resilience: Organizations supporting recovery and preparedness Eligible businesses and nonprofits can access reduced-fee loans, one-on-one business coaching, and technical assistance to help start, expand or strengthen their operations. The program also offers free energy assessments and up to five hours of technical assistance for energy-efficiency and solar upgrades. Applications are now open.
