The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet has announced that KY 1100 in Floyd County will be closed Saturday, October 31, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. for a cross-drain pipe replacement. The closure will take place at mile point 0.815. Residents will be able to access their homes from either side of the work zone, but NO THROUGH TRAFFIC will be permitted while crews work across the roadway. Motorists should plan an alternate route and watch for signs and barricades. Work is weather-dependent, and the road will reopen once repairs are complete.
