The Johnson County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed an ongoing investigation involving 606 Pred Hunters following an October 17 incident at Thealka Park. According to an October 28 news release, a member of the group contacted the Sheriff’s Office regarding an individual suspected of soliciting juveniles to meet at the park. The Sheriff’s Office subsequently consulted the Kentucky State Police Electronic Crimes Branch, Johnson County Attorney, Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office, and U.S. Attorney’s Office for guidance. The investigation remains open while prosecuting authorities determine whether criminal charges are warranted. No arrest or criminal charges were reported in the department’s announcement.
