Destiny Jane Thompson of Louisa was arrested October 29 following a reported domestic altercation in Lawrence County. According to the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department, deputies investigated a report that Thompson had struck her husband with a vehicle. The citation states that her husband reported being run over and that deputies observed a bruise on his leg near the knee. Thompson was taken into custody and charged with fourth-degree assault involving dating violence (minor injury).
