A vehicle reportedly belonging to the City of Hazard crashed into the former Francis Diner building Friday morning, October 30. According to WKCB 107.1 The Killer B, the single-vehicle collision occurred around 9:15 a.m. Hazard Police Chief Miller confirmed the crash. Witnesses reportedly suggested the driver may have experienced a medical issue, although that has not been confirmed. Photos from the scene show damage to the building’s ground-floor entrance area.
