Lawrence County Emergency Management has announced that additional volunteers are no longer needed for the ongoing search for a missing 6-year-old boy. Officials say they currently have an adequate number of volunteers assisting with search efforts. Residents are asked NOT to report to the staging area at Richardson Missionary Baptist Church unless additional assistance is requested. Emergency Management thanked the community for its overwhelming response and says further updates will be provided if more volunteers are needed. The search remains ongoing.
