Kentucky State Police Post 9 recently joined Johnson County Head Start and kindergarten students for a Community Helpers event. The visit gave young students an opportunity to meet law enforcement officers, learn about their responsibilities, and interact with the people who help keep their communities safe. Troopers spent time answering questions, meeting students, and helping introduce children to the role law enforcement plays in their community. KSP Post 9 expressed appreciation to the participating schools and programs for the invitation and the opportunity to build positive connections with local children.
