Santa Claus is making his way through Floyd County on Saturday, December 12, as the Allen Volunteer Fire Department prepares for its annual Santa Run! The department has released its planned route, beginning at 9 a.m. at Fire Station 2 on Prater Creek and continuing through several communities throughout the day. 🎄 Santa’s scheduled stops include: 🎅 9:00 AM – Fire Station 2, Prater Creek 🎅 9:10 AM – Mouth of Schoolhouse Hollow 🎅 9:30 AM – Hunt Branch/Boyd Branch 🎅 9:50 AM – Mouth of Orchard Branch, Old Store Lot 🎅 10:10 AM – Maplewood Village 🎅 10:20 AM – Mouth of Rice Branch (Old Road) 🎅 10:40 AM – Banner 🎅 10:50 AM – Ivel Bottom, near Davidson Memorial Gardens 🎅 11:00 AM – Daniels Creek, traveling the main road to its end 🎅 11:45 AM – Mays Village 🎅 After Noon – Route 1428 toward Allen Elementary, with stops along the way 🎅 12:30 PM – Dwale 🎅 1:10 PM – Allen Bottom, including the Ballpark/Wesley Christian area 🎅 1:40 PM – Old Allen 🎅 2:00 PM – Traveling Route 1428 toward Arkansas Creek, with stops along the way 🎅 2:20 PM – Arkansas Creek, covering the main road from mouth to head The fire department emphasizes that all times are approximate and may change depending on how long Santa spends at each stop.
