The Magoffin County Football Field is now located directly behind the Highschool.
On top of the hill, the field is now called “The Mountain”.
Since 2016 the location of the field has changed to the address – 1100 Mountain Pkwy, Salyersville, KY 41465.
The best way to reach the field on game day is to park behind the school and catch a shuttle that goes up the hill. However, if you want to you can simply walk up the steps as well.
Parking is very limited on “The Mountain. If you are somehow able to get there early you could be in luck and be able to park there as well. There is additional parking behind for opponents behind the bleachers. Most visiting teams will be directed to park their school buses there for easy turnarounds and parking.
The field is now turf and has a surrounding track that goes completely around the football field.
Visiting teams usually set across on the other side of the field opposite the big bleacher. If you are making plans to attend you may want to sit there.
