A Gathering to Remember: New and Familiar Faces Unite
The Magoffin County Magic The Gathering Community Group recently hosted an event that will be fondly remembered. With approximately 13 to 14 enthusiastic participants, both new and familiar faces, the event was a resounding success.
Gathered at the Magoffin County Public Library, attendees brought their play mats, shared decks, and indulged in a delightful spread of pizza and energy drinks, fueling an exciting evening of gaming and camaraderie that lasted for four memorable hours.
To add to the excitement, the event concluded on a high note as one of our administrators, Alex Arnett, generously presented Brad Bailey with a Pauper Commander deck. Brad, who expressed a strong commitment to nurturing our burgeoning community, has now taken on the role of a moderator within the group.

Conclusion
The Magoffin Magic The Gathering Community Group is open to all board games, trading card games and more. We chose Magic the Gathering because its the most well known and popular trading card game out there, while it might be the main focus. We will be open to playing all other card games, one was brought up called Flesh and Blood. Some of us went home that night just to by a deck to play at the next event. There might also be dungeons and dragons and more going on in the future so don’t miss out!
