A Principal Arrested from Magoffin County’s North Magoffin Elementary faces allegations of strangling his wife. Deputies Neil and Donavon Watson apprehended James Keith Isaac, after reports that he allegedly strangled his wife at their Salyersville residence on Monday.Â

According to details from an arrest citation obtained by Appalachia Insider, the altercation began over a disagreement about their dogs, with Isaac purportedly grabbing his wife by the throat and strangling her. Additionally, the citation states that Mr. Isaac was found in possession of a .45 caliber handgun, an additional magazine, a hunting knife, and what appeared to be a tanto knife, all of which he surrendered without incident.

Mr. And Mrs. Isaac both denied Mrs. Isaac assaulting Mr. Isaac. However, Mr. Isaac also denies assaulting Mrs. Isaac. The citation states that Mrs. Isaac had visible red marks on her neck but declined medical treatment at the scene.
