Magoffin County’s Triumph Against a Good Letcher County Team
The game against the Letcher County Cougars was more than just a contest; it was a showcase of Magoffin County’s resilience and skill. Barnett’s aerial display and distributing the ball to this team, the Hornets secured a significant victory, reinforcing their position as a formidable force in the 2023 basketball season. This Letcher County team was a GOOD team. They had lock down defender’s, and a great athlete known across the land as one of the best rebounders and big man down low Mr. Peyton Dixon.
The ball movement was very impressive throughout the match-up the Hornet’s was not afraid to make that extra pass. I noticed however in the 1st Quarter the hornets would take some hard contested shots mostly praying that something would go in, and the game was tied leaving the 1st period.
The hornets started making those extra passes and taking better shots and they ended up getting a huge WIN.
